Ekachai Golf & Country Club it the golf course with 27 holes and located along Ekachai road crossing over Chaophraya river from Bangkok. It takes about one hour by car via the route 35 from the city center of Bangkok. The golf course is famouse for many water hazard in the course from the beginning. Players are requested to hit accurate shots away from the water hazard.

Golf Course Overview

There are some adjustments that you must remember to make to your game. First, there is an element of elevation to either the green or the tee box on almost every hole, and in many cases there can be very substantial. You will need to bring your lob wedge and should use balata balls to make approach shots stick. Second, there is wind to factor into almost every shot – when you combine this with the elevation factor it can have dramatic effects on your club selection. Third, the sand in the bunkers is more like powdered grey clay, which is heavier that what we’re used to in Thailand – it plays difficultly and makes the ball perform differently. Nakhon Pathom (นครปฐม), around 60 km west of Bangkok, is a town famous as the reputedly the oldest in Thailand and the place where Buddhist missionaries first entered Thailand from India. Nowadays it is a fairly typical provincial Thai town with only the gold encrusted Phra Pathom Chedi (พระปฐมเจดีย์) hinting at it's celebrated past.
